An Intimate Kansas City Wedding on the Plaza
A Kansas City Wedding at Home
Morgan and Michael knew that they wanted to share their wedding with their closest friends and family in an intimate environment that made it easy to connect with all of their guests. When it came to choosing a location, they knew there was no better place than home. They decided to host their wedding at their parent’s condo near the plaza. Just steps from Loose Park and with a gorgeous view of Kansas City, it was the perfect spot to keep everything in one place.
When it comes to choosing a venue, everyone has different needs. If being able to get ready at the same location as the ceremony is a goal of yours, having an at-home wedding could be the perfect solution. From backyard weddings to rooftop elopements, I’ve seen folks marry each other at home all over the country in a million different ways. The perks are obvious: saving on a venue and being steps away from bed at the end of the evening. To see another at-home Kansas City wedding, click here.
Kansas City Wedding Vendors
Morgan and Michael chose some of the best Kansas City wedding vendors to help them make their wedding day come to life! Nothing Bundt Cakes made the beautiful desserts, and DJ Alex Reed was the MC for the evening. The florals were created by Eden Floral and Events, and Jack Stack catered their meal. Dalton Moris did Morgan’s hair and makeup, and Bridal Extraordinaire is where she found her gorgeous gown.
Loose Park Wedding Photos
Loose Park is a classic location for wedding photos in Kansas City! I love the versatility of the park, and the historic rose garden. It’s beautiful all year around, but I especially love it in the beginning of the fall when the leaves begin to change and the rose garden is still at its peak. Michael and Morgan chose to see each other for the first time in the oak grove, and it was the perfect shady spot to do all of their family and wedding party portraits.
