My name is Hallie, but you can call me Hal.

Considering my thriving career as a four time back-to-back flower girl in the 90’s, it’s no surprise that I felt right at home in the wedding industry. It’s true. I was born for this. I’ve been in the wedding photography game for 12 years, and I have over 250 weddings under my belt.

In my spare time I enjoy greeting every dog I meet on the sidewalk. I’ve been growing my bangs out for 27 years.

Let me tell you about my favorite love story.

This is a story about my Grandpa Willie, a staple gun, and 50+ years of photos.

In 1951, my grandpa stumbled into a diner with his friends where my grandma was waiting tables. The diner was full. Grandpa was drunk. He sat on the floor, and my grandma served him a hamburger. A week later she asked him to a Sadie Hawkins dance. They dated. They got married. They had 6 kids and 15 grandkids.

When my grandma passed away, Grandpa was suddenly living alone in the house that they had built together in 1960. One day he went down into the basement and dug out every box of photos in the house. He used a staple gun to plaster his entire living room from wall to wall. It made him feel less lonely. It helped him remember what mattered.

Wedding photos matter.

One of these days, I reckon we’ll be in his position. Digging up photos from the past to help us return to the moments that filled our lives with meaning. Photos that bookmarked our best days. That’s why I do this. I’m here to help you fill up that shoebox with memories. I’m here to help you plaster those walls.

(but maybe we don’t use a staple gun.)

“Hallie was the absolute gift to our intimate, woodsy 75 person wedding in Upstate New York. Not only were her photos everything we had hoped for, but she also had such a warm, accommodating vibe, leading my family to ask, "Is she a friend of yours?!" With that being said, she also brought professionalism and talent that exceeded my expectations - but know that she can mingle well with guests and get the great shots that are only privy to someone with such a bubbly and comforting personality. She also took a lot of care in really understanding what we wanted photographed, and captured so many special moments between attendees as well as us on our wedding day.”
