Downtown KC Wedding at The Gallery

Clare and Zach, surrounded by their family and friends, celebrated their downtown Kansas City wedding at The Gallery Event Space. Their wedding was planned and coordinated by Hitched - one of Kansas City’s best wedding planners. I loved working with Clare and Zach as their Kansas City wedding photographer. Our goal was to create a laid back environment for documentary style wedding photography, to let the day unfold naturally.

Fall Wedding Photos at Loose Park

There is nowhere more iconic for a fall wedding photos in Kansas City than the historic landscape of Loose Park! Located just off the plaza, Loose Park is similar to NYC’s Central Park for Kansas City locals. The sprawling park is over 75 acres in total, making it the perfect place to sneak away and capture some autumn colors in Kansas City. Clare and Zach opted to not have a wedding party, which made the portrait part of their wedding day very relaxed. We stopped by their house to let out their dog, Koa, and took some photos on their porch. I love wedding photos at home because they serve as a time stamp on how life looked at the time when you got married. Plus, any time we can include your dog in your wedding photos, I’m all for it!

Weddings at The Gallery Event Space

The Gallery is a perfect place for a downtown Kansas City wedding. It offers a beautiful view of Kansas City’s skyline from the patio. The simple, white walls make it versatile and easy to mold into your own aesthetic. Clare and Zach also had a live band, KC Flo, performing at their reception.
